30 bulbs for 96 feet, so more than 3 feet apart. That's quite a lot. Ideally you want about about 2 feet.

This Govee string lights are RGBIC which can create millions of colors, but wondering why the title says "Warm White"?

Been super pleased with these.. bought 2 sets of the 96' around the beginning of December, for about $112 after tax. While they aren't as aesthetically pleasing, or as inconspicuous as the Govee permanent outdoor..they certainly do quite a bit, especially around this price point. The white is hard to get where you want it, if that makes sense...especially if you're wanting an "ultra"/bright white, the Govee outdoor permanent are the way to go. I removed each bulb and wrapped the thread with plumbers tape...would highly recommend this for anyone planning on using these for their outdoor lighting. While they are IP65..the inside of the socket only has a tiny little rubber/silicone gasket to keep water out..and from what I've read, some folks have had issues with them as far as water. I believe you can daisy-chain as many as 3- 48' sets, before potentially running into power issues with flickering, etc. The control module is not IP rated, so you'll need to address that. My brother in-law went with the govee outdoor permanent, and they are SOLID, having been installed properly. While the colors on these do have a pastel look..I'm a fan, especially for what I paid for them. Solid buy OP

These lights are so trash! They not bright at all. Do not buy if you're expecting them to be somewhat bright.

Thanks. I was thinking they might be too bright. I want to string this along the wall next to the ceiling and run them off a battery backup during power outages.

So I have two sets of these 150 ft worth around the rear and one side of my backyard. I concur with your comments about the color and brightness, but I don't have the "permanent" lights to compare them with. These are my permanent lights and I haven't had any issues with moisture/rain on them, but we don't get a ton of rain in California. A couple of comments though: 1. You cannot chain more than two of these together. In fact the 96 ft you get is two light strips with one control module. And each control module can only power two of these strips. So you will need to plug in a second control module two power up to two more strips, etc. Plan accordingly. If you only use 1 1/2 strips as I have so far, you cannot use that 3rd 48 footer by itself as you would need another control module, either purchased separately (hard to find on Amazon but there) or from another shorter strip. Other than that I love them, but they are not super bright. They are more for aesthetics.

These are NOT bright. I have them and was going to replace my string lights from Costco but instead I ran them both. These are only 50 lumens per bulb. The illuminate setting is the brightest but still dim compared to similar string lights

Absolutely right on the max 2 connect.. my mistake. I had the govee outdoor permanent in the back of my mind and got ahead of myself. I tried connecting these all sorts of ways..2-48' combined is all they're good for. Thank you for correcting/pointing that out.

Seen a lot of Govee lights on amazon with 20-30% coupons. Think that is the normal "sale" route. Expecting lower pricing on them at some point in the season.

I purchased these lights in November. They were easy to hang and simple to use. The control box is not waterproof so I mounted it just inside the garage. We had fun with the different scenes during Christmas and plan on leaving them up year round, changing colors and scenes depending on the month. I will eventually upgrade to permanent lights once the price comes down but for now, these are perfect and cover the entire front of our little house.
