Use to be common for 300lb sets. For smaller increments/sets every once in a blue moon.. Pre pandemic that is lol. Now it's the reverse, bumpers are cheaper than full all iron plates, weird how that works. Who knows, might come back at 50c/lb..one day

I agree, I never see < $1 per lb local used. I purchased these for my curl bar and they are excellent quality. I like the cut outs which make the easy to grab with one hand.

During Black Friday I picked up the 260lbs balance form bumper set from WM for $199. So like $.76 lbs. not bad It's pretty good quality imo. Time Machines abound id do it again.

"standard" = 1" holes
"olympic" = 2" holes

Olympic trumps standard, so if you see both in the name, assume 2" holes.

as for different kinds.. you got rubber coated, urethane, virgin rubber, recycled rubber, bumpers, ones with grip handles, IBFPWJSABC standard, stainless, cast iron, deep dish, calibrated, change, and competition... and probably a billion different other kinds also
