ive recently always lived by $1/lb is a good price for weights. so that would qualify these. i have quite of few of these in my basement, nothing fancy but they work well for anything olympic sized.
i will say i do like the new(ish) styles of plates with the bigger opening for hand/fingers. you can still do plate pinches with them but it can make carrying a few 10s or 5s in each hand easier. compared to the old solid black ones i was used to when lifting in high school and shortly after
