Norton seems to be bloated in 2024 I used to use the software but it would slow my system down also you can find this for about $10 on CD keys and other sites but even for free I don't use it anymore

I have been lagging so bad in CoD lately and saw a random comment saying to turn off game optimization if you have Norton. I just built a PC (well paid MicroCenter to lol) and I didn't even know I had it. Turned it off and boom no issues. Not subscribing to it lmao
This is the definition of bloatware. Barely on par with Defender's (Windows free built in antivirus) detection rate and destroys system performance. Has so much overhead that it will bring powerful computers to its knees. Stay away from Norton.

I got a bunch of the 5-pc for $5-10 a piece. Doesn't affect performance for gaming or anything on my PC. Norton seems much more lightweight than it used to be 10+ years ago.
Not sure what people are talking about in regard to bloatware, you can turn off practically everything relating to notifications or unwanted tasks in the settings and it doesn't nag you to buy more products like other AV software.
While I agree its less useful for the technologically adept, its still useful for parents/family that can't be trusted as much with common sense internet security.
With all that said, the deal is okay but nothing special.
It seems like Norton software goes on sale for 70-80% just about every month or two.
Word of caution. I jumped on a similar bundle deal last year at this time and forgot to cancel till the day of, on me for sure. But inorder to cancel you have to chat with someone online or on the phone. I have been unable to get a hold of a human for a week. Multiple devices for 10 to 20 bucks is OK, but $100 for this adfest that is tougher to cancel than S/XM? Hard pass...

C'mon now. I cancel mine every year on my laptop. Mind you, you DO have to dig for it but you certainly don't have to talk to a human.
I set a reminder on my phone for a month ahead of time and haven't missed it yet.
You can actually Google "cancel Norton " and you get step by step instructions

Wish you were right, might be the case if you cancel a head of time. "Kate" from Noton and Goodle disagree and I'm within the 60 day window.

Before I get you to a live agent, is there anything else that I can assist you with today?

I completely agree with you. I had a hard time trying to reach them. They renewed my subscription and charged me $120 a month before my actual renewal date. I tried chatting with someone online and they had no live agent. Finally after spending so much time I was able to get someone on phone to refund my money. This is the phone number I found help from 👉 1-877 888 7505. I suggest once you buy this product remove automatic billing from your account.
I've been using Norton for the past six years and have never had trouble canceling the auto renewed subscription. You can do it in your account settings right after starting a new subscription.
