Was at my local Lowes and saw these were on clearance for $.79. Looks like this deal was also available on line at other local stores around me.

Based on this, any study gauging the effectiveness of something like Bug Bite Thing would have to separate whatever the poison-sucking or other suction-exclusive effects are from the "'counter-stimulation which can distract the nerve cells from transmitting the itch signal' ... similar to how a parent's kiss on a boo-boo can help reduce the pain of a young child's injury" [Verywell article on heat treatments linked above].
And the marketing says it works on spider bites. As these can be lethal, this is dangerous false advertising. There is such a thing as negative pressure wound therapy which has been tested on spider bites [nih.gov], but it involves sustained low pressure over the dressing over days, and none of the hypothesized mechanisms of action involve removal of any venom (see paper).
And as others have pointed out, once something is injected through your skin, you generally can't just suck it all back out the way it came in, even if you act right away.
