The monitor in this deal is also smaller than dual 27". 49" is equal to dual 27.

I frequently tell myself that my 34" curved monitor is too big. I also frequently tell myself I should buy something like this.

I just contacted Amazon customer support and got $150 in credit back! WOOHOO! From what I hear they never price match, but returning and rebuy wasn't an option.

This is a great deal for this monitor for sure!

Be aware this does NOT have usb-c as noted in the description. This was the primary feature I was looking for when I bought my monitor which is a variant of this one - GR75. If that doesn't matter then this is a good deal, but I wanted power delivery which is something the Odyssey monitors do not offer. I primarily use it for productivity for what it's worth.

I have the 49 and honestly it's too wide. I think 45 is probably perfect.

I've never used a monitor screen above 60 hz. I don't do any gaming, with this 200 hz screen have any benefits for me? I was thinking of getting something a bit higher, but don't want to pay the premium for 200 if I won't even notice it

For productivity higher refresh will make everything feel a bit smoother but there's no real need for anything above 60.

That one has USB C, the one in this thread doesn't have it. Might want to correct that OP.

Amazon will almost always give you a credit right after they tell you they don't price match. "Hold on one minute and let me see what I can do". I swear you could message them for any reason and they'll give you a credit lol

It's not that. The screen is too big to see without moving your head a bit. With 2x24 I didn't have to move my head nearly as much. The added benefit isn't worth it imo.

I have a 34" UW at home and a 49" UW in the office, and every time I use the big one, I wish I had it at home...

I have a 60hz 34" and a 120hz 24" setup at home and once I started using the 120hz it was night and day difference for how smooth and more efficient, therefore more enjoyable, to do basic things. You don't know until you know.

Thanks! Cancelled my order on the posted in this thread and ordered the one you linked! $50 more for USB-C PD seems worth it!
