For limited use and for $10 it's probably okay, but unless they've updated it significantly since the one I bought in ~2008, it's not very repeatable. Most of that misalignment/flex is inherent to the dremel and collet itself (not to mention length of the drill bit).

It'll drill 1 hole, but if you expect to set up a stop/fixture and drill mulitple aligning holes, forget it.
I use the website bugmenot.com.
I have a couple of these, and I cannot recommend them. One of them cannot adjust the angle far enough to drill straight, so it's running the drill bit a little sideways, guaranteed to break. The other one is all perfectly aligned until you actually hit the part. Then all the plastic flexes and things move around. You can reduce force, but then you're not cutting the material, you're just rubbing against it. you can't get a dedicated mini drill press for $10, so this may be worth the trouble if you're on a budget.

These are great when coupled with a soldering iron matching the thread for installing heat set inserts in 3d printed parts. Atom engineering on Instagram has a detailed post on it

You mean there is something these POS do well? I suppose mashing a heat insert doesn't take the highest of accuracy.

No idea why, but i picked one of these up at the Laurel, MD store. The box was incredibly dusty and beat up but the other one they had was worse (yes there is 1 left).

Not sure what i'll use it for but I'll figure something out. I own about 4 different types of dremels and I"m going to see if any of them are compatible, including my Milwaukee M12 one (doubt it).

Just assembled it last night and can confirm the Milwaukee M12 rotary tool fits just fine.

Only problem now is finding drill bits that fit the specific size collets on these types of tools. Dremel has an optional drillbit kit on the side of the box that you can store on the side of the crows nest accessory holder "Dremel 628" is the part number.

These are still on clearance as of 2024-02-07. My store on I-75 in Plano had two. Rang up $10 even, plus tax.

Not listed to fit my old No. 2 Dremel, but it will make a nice gift.

You may get a B10 chuck with 3.17mm sleeve, then you can use any bits up to 1/4". Dremel also has a bit set that has 1/8 shank.

Bought a rotary tool for $15 from Harbor Freight this weekend and mounted it on this, cannot be happier.
