Sadly, no. Conversion rate is best for 1 month and gets progressively worse with longer conversion periods.

1 month core is 20 days of Ultimate --- 3/2 ratio
6 months (180 days roughly) of core is 81 days / 2+ months of ultimate --- 3/1.5 ratio
12 month of core is 4 months of ultimate --- 3/1 ratio

So that's a little better than the 3:2 ratio I though you'd get with this conversion. But then there is the previous post with the big conversation table that suggests you only get 4:1?

Just trying to confirm what is correct. I've been waiting for a deal on 12 month core plans to buy 3 years and convert to two years ultimate. But it wouldn't be worth it to me if I only get 9 month of ultimate out of it.

It was 3:2. 36 months of Core to 24 months of Ultimate. The added month was for the month of Ultimate I bought on top. The other conversion rate is for those that have a current/existing subscription.

If all I play is Halo w/ my friends on PC and they are on Xbox, and I do have Game Pass that will expire in Feb, could I buy this and downgrade to 12 months Core? I will need to buy my own copy of Halo Infinite correct since I am playing the one included w/ Xbox GPU. I really don't play any other game on it. TIA

Yes but if you wait to renew until you expire that 12 months core will turn into 8 months +1 month of ultimate, so 9 months. Might end up cheaper just to convert to ultimate again depending on how much halo costs at that point.

Core is basically what used to be Xbox live gold. You get access to online play and a few games.

Ultimate gets you all that + the following:
Way more Xbox games
Cloud gaming
PC games

Yes, you can stack. 3 of these is the max you can stack until you convert, which will convert to 2 years. Then you could add 3 more if you wanted to to get to 3 total years of ultimate.

I would only go with the initial 3 max, as this is not a great deal, but they have kinda dried up lately.

only for inactive game pass ultimate when convert it if have active one it only converts to 4 months which is rip off.

Using cheap 3 month codes off eneba adds 50 days to active game pass ultimate. Best rate is wait for it to expire
