89C has legs instead of a pedestal stand, otherwise identical.

I've had this TV for about 7 weeks or so now. Great TV, but just got a stuck-on pixel dead center. Tried all of the stuck pixel tricks, pixel refresh, etc. It's still there. Not too noticeable in most shows, but of course now my eye is always looking for it.

Absolutely this. It's competes with the C3 so getting it for less than the B3 is a steal. It's effectively the same TV as the S90C.

Sorry for my ignorance, but can this S89C be wall mounted?

This is one of those great deals where I'm tempted to open a new credit card & take the "$300 off $500 spent in the first 3 months" promo to make it even sweeter. Would be net ~$1600 after taxes at that point...

Still have my 85" QN90B though, so I don't think I will.

Yes, but be careful.

The S95B was 65" only but notoriously frail & you absolutely HAVE to have 2 people to mount it without bending the panel. This is 77" only, so 2 or 3 people will probably have to be involved in any moving scenario regardless.

S95B was a 2022 model, this is a 2023 model that is supposed to have increased durability. Look at the side profile on Best Buy's site though, it is painfully thin.

Lowest it has been $1900 with a free 2 year extended warranty/or wall mounting service. (Minus a little cashback) And for one day they had the TV on sale for $1900 with warranty and $200 gift card but they jacked the price the next day
Thanks for sharing that deal. I appreciate it. I remember seeing it, but I didn't need another 77" at the time.

Oooh I bought on Monday, good to know! But can't see that one dropping further.
Good luck with a price match from Samsung especially with the 10 percent off code. You will be on the phone for weeks. Trust me.

It can be, but be careful when you initially install the mount. The VESA mounting screw holes are near the bottom of the panel instead of the middle of the TV. The VESA measurements are 400mm x 300mm. I ran into that issue years ago with my LG C1. I'll never make that mistake again.

yes but s95c has One Connect box which I have heard breaks fairly often. Don't get the S95c
The one connect box makes the S95C future proof and is one of the main reasons to buy the S95C along with the added brightness. They will replace the One connect box but I never had one break.

Is a sound bar necessary for this TV? Not too concerned about amazing sound. Not a movie junkie. Will mostly be watching cable/sports/occasional video gaming.

Keep in mind the OneConnect box has a lower bandwidth than the S90c if you care about high refresh rate PC gaming (not applicable to everyone I know)

How do you like the QN90B?
I have the 85 QN90B and absolutely love it, especially given my living room is on the brighter side, the 1,750 nit panel makes everything pop. I had the 65 LG E9 OLED previously which struggled during daylight unless all blinds were down.
These calibration settings from jamiesaun85 from AVS forum also also helped the colors and contrast compete with the OLEDs, complete game changer:

https://www.avsforum.com/threads/...t-62903674

Also if you have a choice buy from a retailer instead of Samsung. I had to return my first set from Samsung as the panel was faulty and the return process was a pain, basically had to repackage it and send back the TV and wait a few weeks for a refund, then had to reorder the TV and had to battle to get the original deal on the reorder.

Look at one of the threads for Samsung, you can usually get it to 1769 with the EPP price, then chat to get an additional 10% and free 2 year Care+. Then whatever CB you can use, as Samsung is typically better than BB for that.

edit: sorry, also need a referral code for 5% off as another user mentioned.
Epp price has been 2069 for a bit. If ur goes to $1800 idk if they'll still give you the extra 10 percent???

That's what l'm saying, it was Never 1500, even if you take the 200 GC, it will still not be 1500.

Not sure why people here would state such a claim and just pick a random lowet number just to have something to say.
