It's wild caught pink salmon. In 2023 the salmon harvest was crazy, up 43% and prices crashed. The US government brought some for food banks. It's super healthy, I eat if often in rice/quinoa bowls with mushrooms asparagus garlic black pepper and kale or spinach. I have never had an out of range number on my lipid profiles for the past decade.

Bones and skin are the best part.
I regularly buy the Aldi version of these cans. I don't mind the skin or bones at all, and these make great salmon patties. Great protein per dollar for fish. Also good to keep in the pantry—can make salmon dip/whatever else. The bones and skin are good for you, too. Good price

I tried this last time it was on sale, and it's difficult to eat. Very metallic, same taste as when you get blood in your mouth. Extremely dry and pasty, very fishy smelling and fishy taste. The skin and jelly was also super gross.
Might want to add skin and bones in the title. Bought one as a treat for my cats. Thx
They're always in canned salmon. There's hardly any skin and it's easy to remove. The bones are super soft and you don't even notice them in a salmon burger or something.
