About this Game:
Days Gone is an open-world action-adventure game set in a harsh wilderness two years after a devastating global pandemic.
Step into the dirt flecked shoes of former outlaw biker Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter trying to find a reason to live in a land surrounded by death. Scavenge through abandoned settlements for equipment to craft valuable items and weapons, or take your chances with other survivors trying to eke out a living through fair trade… or more violent means.
A striking setting: From forests and meadows, to snowy plains and desert lava fields, the Pacific Northwest is both beautiful and lethal. Explore a variety of mountains, caves, mines and small rural towns, scarred by millions of years of volcanic activity.
For under $10, get this game. That is an amazing value.
Not sure why my comment was deleted. I was just informing everyone that this is the regular third party price. Maybe it was because I posted a price tracking link? The point is just to inform people that there is no rush you can always buy this game key from 3 party providers at this price. As has been the case most everyday for the past year.

Get ready to go from horse riding simulator to motorcycle simulator except you have to search for gas every 30 mins. In my opinion the missions get very repetitive, make you go from one end of the map to the other almost every other mission. Having to find gas gets annoying too.

I ran out of gas a couple times, but was always able to find gas. Finding scrap to keep your motorcycle repaired was about the same as the gas for me. A couple times I had to pull up the map and plan a walk to the nearest building or pile of cars. Looting is a large part of this game.
Great game, open world with polished mechanics. I'd say it's an action game first with a bit of horror sprinkled in, and not a horror zombie game. I think it gets compared the most to The Last Of Us (which I've never played), saying that TLOU is more linear whereas DG is more open (not saying one is better than the other, just different). I enjoyed the storyline, and it has very few bugs to speak of. I don't typically enjoy driving vehicles in games (Borderlands, Rage), but I actually found riding the motorcycle quite enjoyable.
I replayed this game quite a few times. The only thing I found tedious on replays was the unskippable parts where you follow another character (especially flashbacks with Sarah), as well as sneaking around following NERO scientists.
Highly recommended if you enjoy single player action/shooter with a solid storyline. It has its challenging parts but it just adds to the suspense without being punishing.
I don't get why there's a 120hz cap or how to get around it, but still a great game with a few hours in
What do you mean? Works fine for me on either of my two different monitors with different max refresh rates.
That is governed by whatever your monitor is reporting to your operating system as its max refresh rate. What's your max refresh rate of your monitor in windows when you check display properties > Advanced?
Great game. I commented on the last thread that it was hard to get in the game but once I started and played a bit, I was swept away. Wonderful story and memorable characters. I pretty much did 45 hrs of the game in a single week 😂 highly recommend
This game was a big surprise for me when it came out. I went in with very low expectations after getting it in 2019--another zombie survival game--but its really a hidden gem. Last month I finished my 3rd full playthrough, 5 years later, and had just as much fun as the first time. The graphics are good (not as good as something like the new Avatar or God of War) but way way better than most of whats out there (I am looking at you RDR2), especially compared to others from the same year. The voice acting is great, the characters are believable (mostly), and the storyline is engrossing. Gunplay is excellent, enemy AI is acceptable to good, but the real star is the horde mechanic which is unique and tons of fun. The open world is big but not too big, and quite beautiful. I highly recommend the game at full price, and at $10 its a no brainer.
