Just an FYI - JBL is releasing the new model (Partybox Stage 320) in April. It supposedly has upgraded woofers/tweeters, better lights, more connectivity, a telescoping handle, AND a battery that you can actually replace - which is new for the Partybox series.

Awesome price! This thing SLAPS! Picked one up not too long ago on the last deal to upgrade from my PartyBox 100. What a big upgrade. Couple of my buddies had been trying to get me to get a Soundboks like they've got, soo glad I went with the the 310, the bass is worlds better! For my jams, I'd much rather have more power in the lows than loudness capability all in the highs any day!
In for one. If you're a new customer on JBL.com, you can claim an additional 10% ($30 for me, for a total of $373 with tax).
Great deal thanks!

I'm thinking of getting two of these for indoor/outdoor projector nights. Does anyone have any comments on the pros/cons for that use case? Or maybe another recommendation for another product?

I mostly want a stereo setup, and a wireless connection (i.e. bluetooth).

I bought 2 of the klipsch gig XXLs from Costco recently and am not very pleased with how frustrating it is to get everything set up.. which needs to be done every single time. Pairing is a pain and is not consistent. Also, it only goes down to 50hz which isn't that great.

Just purchased my 2nd 310 today to run stereo. However with that said, it has been frustrating using Bluetooth to my LG C3 TV. I wanted a quick way to setup karaoke for special occasions, but it would only pair the first time and when it did run flawlessly and worked great but trying to repair it again is a challenge. It would not automatically pair Bluetooth and I would have to delete and then if I was lucky it would pair. I was able to bypass this with the Aux 3.5mm connection. It requires a bit more setup time though. Hopefully that helps you.

Thank you. Your reply definitely helps. Sounds similar to the Klipsch. Ive noticed it's because I have to pair the speakers to each other first, then pair it to the actual TV. The next time you turn things on, it doesn't remember the stereo configuration and automatically connects to only one of the speakers so you'd have to delete the pairing on both speakers (have to delete it twice because it'll pair to the other speaker too) and pair everything from scratch

Maybe it's a hard comparison. Do you think QSC 10s comparable to 310s ? Debating to run a pair set up

Does it have the microphone plug in for karaoke? Asking for an Asian friend
I got two JBL310 from the last front page deal and finally tested one of them last week with my family karaoke system. Unfortunately, I was so disappointed to find out that the speaker generated high volume windy noise rhyming with the songs when connected to the karaoke machine either directly or indirectly. This issue is not alone when I searched online afterwards, yet nobody has mentioned it here, which I assume most of the SDers do not use the speaker for karaoke like we Asians. I couldn't figure out the reason/solution yet, but I strongly suggest your Asian friend do not take the risk of buying this speaker for karaoke.

It's crazy how much these went up in price. My partybox 300 was $180 new when I got it years ago. The 310 is better for sure and if I didn't already have a 300 I think about picking one up.

Make sure you dont power the device used for audio in with the speaker usb. Power it independently

Question for the experts: Should I keep 2x partybox encore essentials for $180 for TWS stereo sound, or get 1x 310 for $180 from NFM?

That deal is not on the site

Get two and I guarantee they will rock your house like crazy. Even with one, mine is shaking the ceiling and floor.

This thing's great, but I'm not sure about it doing that. I've got 3x 15" subs at 1500w RMS ratings, and those shake the house.

Lol I'm using the dual wireless JBL mics and it works perfectly. Not sure what kind of mic you're using.

the x5206 advertises 80w rms power vs. 240w for the partybox 310. if you're playing at quiet volumes maybe they're similar.
I believe max power is 160W on the Philips, but regardless its very loud. We use it at cub scout events with 100+ people with no problem.

The only device connected to the speaker is the mixer through the aux port and the mixer is powered up independently.

Allow me to elaborate my setting-up so you may have more ideas. I had the mic and the karaoke machine connected to the mixer; the mixer is then connected to the speaker aux port. I've also tried to connect the karaoke machine directly to the speaker aux after the windy noise issue, but that did not solve the problem. By the way, there was no windy sound issue at all when the karaoke machine connected to an AMP powered klipsch speakers. Any suggestions?
