You'd want curved for a 34"ultrawide. I used to use a flat 29" ultrawide, which was fine. I've used both flat and curved 34" ultrawides, and curved is the way to go.
It's worth noting that, unlike some competitors, Samsung's 1-year warranty doesn't cover burn-in in North America, though this may vary from region to region.

This monitor, in comparison, has a very fast refresh rate. Much much much better contrast ratio (OLED has true blacks, so the contrast ratio is nearly infinite). EXTREMELY clear motion (moving images on cheaper panels will blur and "ghost"). Very very bright (1000 nits peak brightness vs ~400). The colors will be super vivid AND accurate.
To be honest, I don't know if OLED is what you want for video editing. It might be TOO vivid, and TOO bright. For media consumption though, it's brilliant.
The quality of the monitor stands is next level they don't make 90 deg spring detente rotating stands of this quality standard anymore!! :
LoLz

I switched it for a Samsung Odyssey G9 when that had the EDU sale and have had no problems with that monitor.
I tried this display because it has streaming built in and I was hoping it would show ultrawide content natively, but it does not (at least when I last tried it). It puts black bars on the sides and top and bottom. The streaming part of the tv thinks its a standard 1080p screen and just blows up the resolution if you try to zoom to get rid of the bars. So, dont get this for its streaming functionality. I ended up getting an LG C3 which handles streaming very well (since its a tv first).
