Here is the same at Target - https://www.target.com/p/apple-ip...nk=sametab
I just picked up the 64gb 10th gen regular iPad. It is fast and runs just fine. This one should perform even better.
At home you can connect to USB hub and other devices including mouse, full keyboard, and external 4k monitor.
I also have a 13" MacBook Air and this is so much lighter and more portable, even with a keyboard.
Keep in mind that Apple supports iPads officially for 5+ years but even after it's no longer supported, you can hand this down to a kid for gaming and media consumption.
There WILL be a new iPad Air released next month.
Can't recommend this device enough at this price.
You forget to mention the ridiculous battery life. I can use it all day without plugging it in. My wife has this and I have the M1 iPad Pro and they are pretty much the same for our purposes. They are one of the most amazing devices I've ever used when paired with Magic Keyboard. At work I use a Magic Mouse and trackpad as well.

Getting more storage space gives you the flexibility to use the iPad as more than just a browsing and streaming device. Storing the data in an external drive is not always an option or convenient depending on the situation or the apps you are using. If none of these apply to you or interest you, then by all means a 64GB would be enough.
but still waiting on a real stupid deal for the mini so I can use it for foreflight. the only app that I need on the iPad..
False. I have a tab s7+ and find the productivity apps sucky on android vs my iPad. no pro version of photoshop or davinci resolve for video and photo editing but have those on ipadOS
I just use the s7+ for watching movies now with that nice OLED screen

The CORE OS and PRODUCTIVITY of an ipad is no where close to what android can do. These are all facts. You bring up old hardware and specifics...
But guess what... I can now use luma fusion on my s9... And who really using photoshop on the ipad, like for real? The ipad cannot dock well and is nothing more than a companion device. My productivity is Slower on a mac or ipad and those are just the FACTs for ME. Does not mean it does not work, but I use the right tools for the job and the ipad for me currenly has only one place... that is in the cockpit of an airplane... and I am trying my best to find a decent android tablel that keep that from being the case.
