I didn't say I bought 3 of these.

I was referring to buying 3 smartphones and not being able to buy more online.

Sheesh. What is your problem????

For those who ordered, did you get a confirmation email? I never got one but the site says its ordered. And I don't have any account info to sign in.
Yes there's a order confirmation email with the subject line "We've received your Metro order!". It's not instantaneous but didn't take hours either to receive.

Got this phone delivery today via UPS open up and there no sim card. Try to do esim but asking for a QR code which I don't have. Please help anybody have this problem?
The sim card is in a separate cardboard-colored paper envelope in the box. Easy to miss.

Search shipping box thoroughly. Then contact Metro customer service.

Got the phone... Cannot get the hotspot to work (either WiFi or USB tether). Am I missing something?

Did it lag on gaming or something else?
Same for me, same dates, and unlocked and seems to work fine on t-mobile, not tested on others, but under device settings still shows-reads "locked". Why?

Which plan did you get? Pretty sure hotspot/tethering 'not' included with $40 plan.

Still didn't get the email. On their page my order still shows as valid. Wonder whats going on?

also is this deal a yearly thing? what I'm wondering is, in a few months around BF will this deal pop up again, but with the 2024 version? Since we can't use the phone till then anyway, is it better to wait? Motorola only gives 1yr of updates too so this phone won't get Android 15.

Yes, by BF, the 2024 model will be out. Nothing is guaranteed about what phones will be featured and at what prices.

Also by that rationale - "we can't use the phone till then" - you won't be able to use the BF phone until next summer, almost, lol.

But yes, this phone is often on promo. Very often.

you use the phone for 1 month, then wait 5. Assuming of course most here are buying to use with their current prepaid plan (e.g. I use Mint) and not the Metro plan that comes with it. And if there's a new phone and deal out every year, with 1 year of updates, that means its better to buy early in the 1yr cycle.

eg I bought this phone today but will only be able to use my current sim in it in Sep, and if there's a similar deal out by then, it'd be a better buy, and I could then start using it in early 2025. Which means I'll be using the latest phone with latest Android for ~6mo at least.

convoluted frugal logic maybe Smilie

Yes. But the first month payment stands.

You can do anything you want after you activate for the first month. Literally, whatever.

You don't have to pay for a second month.

Bought mine last August. Didn't pay for any service after that. Just used as a WiFi device for the next 5 months. Phone was unlocked a week ago.

Used on Cricket and Visible since unlock. As far as phone service, before the 6 month unlock period passes, phone can only be used on Metro
Does it have n77? for UW on Verizon

Yes, I got the order email within few minutes. I can't log in either because it asks for SMS OTP code send to the phone. Maybe because I activated the SIM yesterday before I received the phone today.
