although mine is branded under another name that is no longer available. I like it a lot. Doesn't make a huge mess unless you use oily beans and comes completely apart for easy cleaning. Very nice, consistent grind and lots of settings and has a very handy little airtight container for a couple days worth of grinds..
Probably wouldn't use this for espresso.
Bodum Electric Burr Coffee Grinder
Model 10903-01 US-3
Having said that, I have had this grinder for a few years (since Aug 2020) and I started having issues with it about 6-9 months ago. It grinds coffee much, much slower than it used to. I have contacted and am working with their support at the moment; the suggested replacement part is something like $25 + shipping so I may just jump on a new one from costco.
The price at costco for it looks great compared to what I bought for for what it is worth too. Hope this information helps someone.

If you're buying a burr grinder for the convenience of a consistent grind everytime and not needing to time or check your grind like with a blade grinder then you should buy a burr grinder.
If you're buying it because you think it will noticeably improve the taste of your coffee, the expert opinions don't think it does.

Either way, it's still interesting to see that that's the conclusion that they came up with. Brings into question the conventions for coffee and maybe draws parallel with wine. I feel confident in saying that a vast majority of people aren't great at tasting wines, that's why there are such a small amount of somms in the world. Getting burr grinders may make sense for the "coffee somms" but not for the vast majority of people, if you're okay with fussing with a blade grinder a tad to save money.

The point wasn't that they could or couldn't taste any differences. It's that they didn't immediately choose the coffee made with the burr grind and say, "this one tastes better". They didn't have a preference either way which says enough.
