I use protein powder and creatine monohydrate, but have never used a pre-workout product - not sure exactly what it tries to accomplish other than a caffeine high.

Is it any better than coffee?

Yes, beta alanine is another key to open blood vessels back up for a better pump and more oxygen to muscles for endurance in workout. Caffeine restricts blood flow

This 25% coupon is not applying to the Fruit Punch flavor for me, only Blue Raspberry and Watermellon for some reason.

This is less than 50 cents a serving, more beneficial than 3 cups of coffee

I have pretty chronic fatigue and at this point working out or a lot of physical activity is challenging, and one of the pre-workout drinks has a much more enabling effect on my body than a similar or larger dose of caffeine from coffee does. So the other stuff in these drinks is clearly doing stuff.

I've tried a few different brands and they all seem to affect slightly differently. Also, seem to be a lot more mild and well balanced than what I get from canned energy drinks.

Just make your own. Get some caffeine pills (200 count for a couple bucks), L Citrulline powder, beta alanine (optional if you want that tingling/paresthesia sensation) and Gatorade powder for flavoring. Allows you to fine tune each component as well assuming you're aware of what each ingredient does.

Do you know if there is a difference between the Ripped Sport pre-workout vs. The Sport pre-workout?

I love coffee, but to have to drink it in the am for work ethics, than when feeling low on energy before a workout, having to reach for another cup of coffee sometimes is a little on the too much side for me. So I'm in for one and see how it goes for me from there, if I don't like it, ey it was worth a shot. If not, well I'll try again somewhere else

Asked Microsoft Copilot about the vasoconstriction relative to working out, here's what it said: "While caffeine does constrict blood vessels, its overall impact on exercise performance is positive. Here's why:
Increased Blood Flow to Active Muscles: Despite the initial vasoconstriction, caffeine enhances blood flow to the muscles you're actively using during exercise. This improved blood flow can enhance performance and delay fatigue."

It had legitimate links to source information for this. I thought it was pretty helpful. That being said, I'd like the idea of Beta alanine to help as well
