Lowe's has a sale going on for the DCF 891B that includes two powerstack batteries for $249.99. If you price match Homedepots sale price of 199.00 at Lowe's they'll still honor the free powerstack batteries. Worked for me at Lowe's Smilie

***Edit***
Go to the self checkout, and before scanning the impact call a team member over. Ask to price match HD website. They will confirm the price HD website and price match it. Proceed to scan the batteries and the promotional discount automatically applies.

Fwiw: Lowe's online chat would not price match for me, since theirs comes with the pair of batteries ($200 at Home Depot). Good luck though!
Strange, I was able to price match a DeWalt DCF810 this morning. They just mentioned since they're price matching, they wouldn't include the free batteries. (which is fine by me, already have enough)

I used the DCF891B to do a full suspension/brake job recently. It was a dream to be able to zip caliper bolts off one-handed while waving to the neighbors. In addition to saving thousands, it keep me from getting frustrated and throwing my worn rotors through the windshield. Do it. Get it.

I don't know about any of the newer & smaller impacts, but the Dewalt DCF913B with a 5Ah wasn't cutting it on caliper, control arm bolts or even my 100ft-lbs. lugs. I don't know if I got a dud, but there's that.

Not really sure what the market for the 913 is, I have the 923 and they seem nearly identical in price and size, but I think the 923 is rated at like 100ft-lbs higher. It will easily do my 80ft-lb lugs (even when over torqued at a bit over 100). I'd recommend the 923, but the 913 just seems too close in everything but performance.

I tried to price match, but the clerk wasn't getting it. She would scan both items together and it made the impact under 150$ and she said it's already cheaper that what I wanted to match.

I tried to get her to scan the impact, price match, then scan the batteries but no dice. So it's a YMMV for sure. Worth a try 100%.

That's good to know. Thanks. I'm ditching the 913. I was really surprised it was that weak. Just picked up the 923. $107 with battery return.

Sweet, curious to hear any actual differences... weight, size, power.
I know from looking at FB marketplace there's a SLIGHT difference in the head angle, but I'd be extremely surprised if that any measurable difference...

Before scanning anything, I asked to price match Home Depot for 199.00. Showed them the price on HD website. She rang it up and walked away. I then scanned the batteries and it auto-deducted the batteries for the promotion.

Nice! This is exactly why I purchased this impact. I need to do the suspension on my Cherokee.

The Rigid is High Torque. The 891 is mid torque if I recall correctly.

Originally picked up the dewalt high torque dcf900p. the overall length with socket would have made it difficult working in my wheel well and the 1400ftlbs was just not practical for my application.

Got one, thank you. They ring each item separately. The tool itself was 140 if you don't care for the batteries. I think it's a great value counting the batteries in for another 50 or so. I involved management since the cashier told me she couldn't match it, but her manager did.

Try again and ask them to match the price of the impact at 199.99 then scan the batteries. That should check out at 199.99+tax

Wait, if you buy in store, ringing up the items separately, can you later return the batteries in store?

Is this one able to spin the crank bolt off? Or I still need the 900p?
