I own the standard, non-AX version and have used it extensively in my travels domestically and globally. There's a walkthrough published by gli on this exact topic here: https://docs.gl-inet.com/router/e...ve_portal/
This is also great for cruises where they base your cost on per device. Hook this up first and tie to your account and then connect all your devices to the gl to save. Granted this only works when in your room, but definitely helps for those cruise line that charge per device.
With amazon business account, there is an additional $31 promotional certificate that can be clipped which brings the original $82.90 down by extra $31 and total price comes to about $51.90

I just received mine this weekend and tested it with my Tmobile Inseego 5G mifi which is my main internet connection. For some reasons, I could not get the WAN port working (even used as LAN port) with my mifi. The router randomly detects the connection then disconnects repeatedly and never became stable. I tried connecting it to the 2nd LAN port and the connection is stable. Tethering (via USB) and repeater work fine and I realized using tethering also charges my mifi so that's my current setup now (not needing to permanently plug the mifi to another power source). Now I'm thinking if I received a lemon because of the WAN issue and contemplating if I should get a replacement.
I had the same issue (both ethernet and tether). The solution is to turn on DMZ in the MiFi. Advanced-Firewall-DMZ. This can only be done through the web interface. Add the ip address of the Beryl AX (192.168.8.1). Click save. I can confirm I am able to browse the internet.

I am at a Hotel property right now and I been having issues with it disconnecting and then trying to bring up the sing in portal once reconnected.. Stable last 3 hours gona keep testing.
I'm on the next week and i just noticed(actually read) the zoom instructions sheet and it say don't use random Mac addresses. I can say it will work fine 1 day, but not the 2nd day. I'll try using my note 9 Mac address this week.

I tried updating the DMZ setting on my mifi and received an error "Invalid IP address" for 192.168.8.1. I am using default settings on my Beryl AX.

I think the additional $31 coupon is only for business account. I tried converting my account to business but Amazon wants to verify the business with EIN or license. Any other way to open business account without EIN?

Business account here and don't see the coupon. I would get this if I had the coupon, but still might get it without it. The extra discount would just make it sweeter.

Make sure the ethernet is enabled on the MiFi and plugged into the Beryl.

You do not need to do that. If you follow the documentation, when you connect your first device to the router it will connect and register with the portal. After that you can connect as many devices as you want. I also use tailscale onto it to tunnel back to my network for "VPN". I'm working on cloudflare but GL uses very old openwrt so it is difficult to get up to date packages. For instance you just cant update tailscale like I can from my DIY openwrt router which is a shame.
You can (and I have) updated tailscale on the AX: https://forum.gl-inet.com/t/how-t...0/27725/14
