Ordered DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter, 2 of them. Both were not working.
Ordered a PC Case, (Jonsbo D41) and it was supposed to have an 8" screen, that was missing.
Ordered a motherboard, it was missing CPU pins.
Looks like a good deal on the bulb, but gonna have to pass.

i should also point out that i bought 2 motherboards from amazon warehouse, and they were both completely destroyed. bent pins, dented corners, weird stains. etc. the warehouse employee who repacked this for resale was straight up brain dead.

I've had fairly good luck with AWD, and not run into something that would turn me off to them like some people have (e.g. feces instead of a graphics card). My overall Amazon experience has gone to shit in general, but that's another story

It's 2024. An online retailer turns me off the moment they don't protect me as a buyer when they take my money and don't hold up their end. Amazon is pushing their luck with the most ridiculous returns lately. I ain't hanging around until they send me feces 🤣

I ordered a switch dock and got a power outlet for a Lenovo laptop. They just don't care
They due refund, but I stopped trusting Amazon's used item grading system and haven't been ordering as much from them. In addition to all the above, they are getting too preachy and making weird choices in the app that has really been making shopping with them less enjoyable. More and more of my business has been going to Walmart and other places.
A problem I had was with a "Like new" cooler. It was extremely scratched and scuffed. The molding was separating from the siding and you could see the foam inside and rust. The manufacturer date was stamped in the molding and it was almost 15 years old, obviously someone bought a new one and returned their old junky one.
In the past year that I can remember 2 air conditioners, two espresso machines that are $800 at full price (one was brand spanking new, the other was probably used once), sneakers, a fan, an electric kettle, lights, phone cases and chargers, curtains, a yoga mat... and probably more. Some were lightly used or had mild wear but most were brand new regardless of claimed condition. With that cooler being the only stinker I can remember and that was also in 2022 (though there were probably a few times I returned things that I don't remember, nothing as bad as the cooler) - they offer free returns anyway.

Yep, I joined Walmart + (Plus) six weeks ago and have since used Amazon less.
