You're right, I didn't see the model # change, updated my previous comments!

Looks like the 10AH one is the 'XP' version with more torque & a longer battery warranty.

Differences between Mower LM2135SP and Mower LM2156SP:
Runtime:

LM2135SP: Up to 60 minutes
LM2156SP: Up to 75 minutes
Battery:

LM2135SP: 56V 7.5Ah ARC Lithium™
LM2156SP: 56V 10.0Ah ARC Lithium™
Cutting torque:

LM2156SP: 8.3 ft-lbs
Battery Warranty:

LM2135SP: 3-year
LM2156SP: 5-year with registration

I think this is a great deal on a great mower. I bought this last year when it was $699, and I didn't get the extra battery. I opened a Lowe's account to get an extra $100 off when I bought mine, which they're doing right now through 3/6 (20% off, up to $100).

Really the battery costs these days. If you take the battery out of the equation, the 10AH battery included is $500 MSRP.

MSRP the mower is $850-500 = $350.

The 5AH free battery you get with this deal is $300 MSRP.

Since the mower + 10AH is $750 (using that $350 for the mower cost).. you're paying $400 for the 10AH battery + 5AH battery which are normally $800 MSRP together.

It's 50% off batteries and they're throwing in a free mower. haha

Should be able to cancel battery separately prior to shipping, otherwise just return once received from Amazon.
I tried prior to shipment but no luck. Will likely just return once it arrives. Also looks to be back at non sale price?

I've been wanting to buy the 7.5ah ego vs the greenworks 80v 4ah plus 2ah battery. I like that Costco offers the 8 years warranty vs the 3 years ego warranty. I have a little more than a 0.25 acre lawn. I am leaning towards the greenworks due to the warranty. The battery deal for this is nicer. Such a tough decision. Any inputs?

Anyone use one of these 7.5 ah batts with the leaf blower? Wondering what kind of runtime you get.

My 25 year old gas pushmower might be on its last leg, but I just use it to get tight spots the rider can't get into easily. So I'd really be more interested in a big battery for blowing leaves in the fall.
You will get lots of run time. Your arms, however , will be screaming at you. I love my old 2.5 batteries for my blower. Haha. I guess I should go to the gym more but the little ones get my yard done just fine.

Newer mowers don't offer as much as they used to; still 21" cut width which isn't much; if they actually had a 34" super recycler alternative then it is justified at this price but for battery it's not worthwhile; there's just added blades in this besides the 2100 and the self propel breaks easily; mine is stuck on one speed and these mowers are light enough to where you don't even need it so they are over engineering it to fit towards those who aren't able to push 20lb which is not the typical guy that loves to yard work

I got mine used and it's good enough at $200 but not 3x the price

Batteries last a long time since they deep cycle and are well built; i think battery is 7.5 and is like 4 years old and i get through 7000sqft yard on 4" but if you cut short or have KBG or ryegrass or any southern lawn then this mower isn't for you

Just plain and simple; these have power but they have overage protection which cuts out cause of torque

Agree. The electric mowers are much lighter than gas so easy to push. Self-propelled just eats up more battery that is not needed, unless maybe you have a really hilly yard or something
Possible to disable/not use the self-propelled feature?

FWIW the sale is also available on Amazon.

Both Lowe's & Amazon also has a similar model but with a 7.5AH battery + the free 5AH battery for $599 -

Thank-you for posting this deal!

I've been looking at the LM2135SP for awhile. It was $599 on Black Friday as well, but I don't think it included the extra battery.

Just ordered on Amazon!

Thanks, was looking for that. I want to get an Electric Pressure washer, just picked up this lawn mower, was hoping that the pressure washer got the free battery (e.g. was hackable so I could get it for like 200-250) but it isn't on the list Frown

I burn through two 2.5's in the fall when the leaves are falling and then my arms get more of a workout with the rake.

I was thinking of going for that, but the fine print on Lowe's says the 20%/$100 opening discount doesn't apply on discounted items. You're saying it worked for you? Did you open the credit card account online or in a store?
Yes it worked. I opened the account online placed order for store pick up

Never mind. I thought ego products with batteries come with two of the same batteries like mowers and snow blowers.
