How is this TV v/s 65" LG QNED 80 on deal with almost half the price?
I mean no gpu for pc is good enough for 4k 120hz on modern games either lol. I agree that pc is much stronger than consoles, I haven't owned a console since the original Xbox for this reason lol. But it's not like a 4090 will run newer games at 120hz either.
But your not seeing more then 120fps so it's pointless other than lowering input latency.

I thought the whole point of greentoe is it doesn't charge tax
I disagree, there are definitely AA and some AAA titles you can handle with a 4090. Alan Wake 2, probably not.
But this year is a significant step up between the C3 and G3 with the MLA panel imo. In a bright room it's a big difference.
I just wish it had a stand because I don't want a flush mount and my 3-in-1 only supports up to 65" but if you're in a brighter room I think it's absolutely worth it. It's about as close as LG is going to get to the brightness of a QOLED.
Just hoping the 65" G3 gets in the $1600-$1700 range soon otherwise I'll have to wait till Black Friday. and I really need an HDMI 2.1.
Still rocking my E8 and I need it to see if that's the reason my Pioneer VSX 305 has such long black outs/handshake issues when switching sources before I try and make a warranty claim.
There are at least 5 games that the 4090 won't hit 100fps at 1440. So to me that means it's not a 4k card. As I won't like having under 100 fps. So I'll wait before going with a 4k monitor. I have a C1 hooked up to my pc. But my 6900xt isn't good enough for 4k so never game on it.
1440 max settings at high frames beats 4k at low-med settings at lower fps all day every day.

So just change the in have resolution even you're having on your tv. I'd much rather play an epic game on a 65" screen from the comfort of my couch than a 27-32" screen in my face drying out my eyeballs.
