Is there something special about this brand? Local Wallyworld sells 26oz whole jalapeños for $1.47 everyday price. Yeah, this gets delivered to my door, but... is that why this is a 'deal?'
Edit: looks like a WM across town has this same brand for $1.58... also everyday price. See attached screenshot.

It's obvious there's a difference!! It's not on sale at Walmart so you save nothing! It's on Sale at Amazon so you are saving almost 66%!! Learn your math

If we're playing that game, I'll call you, and up you a can from Dollar Tree for $1.25
In all seriousness, these canned whole pickled jalapeños are very much the same product. In my experience, they're always packed/canned in Mexico with a similar flavor regardless of the brand.
One more thing to consider, these shouldn't be confused with the sliced, pickled jalapeños that are often called "nacho" style. They taste very different from the whole pickled peppers posted above.

I need to collect 5 S&S to get better discount for more expensive items. This is better than free.
I buy these frequently and am surprised how cheap they are shipped to my home, especially as someone who has jalapeno plants. The carrots that come with it are my favorite snack food.
Just interested in knowing what people do with a large can of this after opening it ?
Marinade chicken. Super easy and delicious. When you bake the chicken it gives off so much liquid that I have resorted to cooking on a cookie rack on my foil lined baking sheet. This way it does not get braised instead of baked. I usually toss the actual peppers but you can cook them too I suppose. Don't knock it til you try it. You can put your favorite seasoning on after marinating.
