Anyone had this brand before? I love these when they're crispy / crunchy. Kinda hate them when they're mushy.

They're weird especially with the few carrots. Plenty of heat and consistency was in the middle of where you're wanting?

I've fermented jalapenos (as opposed to pickling with vinegar and salt), and I don't plan on making any further attempts at it because I quickly discovered that getting tasty results is more finicky than with cucumbers or cabbage. Anyhow, I now completely understand the mystery of the additional vegetables, whether they still serve their traditional function or not.
