New wording for Metro unlock policy:
https://www.metrobyt-mobile.com/t...ock-policy
"Unlock eligibility requirements
We unlock mobile devices that meet the following eligibility criteria free of charge:
The device must be purchased from Metro by T-Mobile.
The device must not be reported as lost, stolen or blocked.
Three hundred sixty-five (365) days must have passed since the device's activation date."
Should obviously only apply to purchases made after they changed the rules.
But might have to fight for that...

And what was the cost of the plan if you don't mind me asking. Was it $40 each time?
Any tips anyone?
"The serial number XXX cannot be activated without a status change. Call Centers should refer the customer to their place of purchase. Corp Stores should work with their store managers and regional support teams. Dealers should verify the IMEI is correctly received in inventory and reattempt the transaction, contacting their ASR if the problem persists."
So seems no go. Also am curious what that means...
2- 3/5/24 Ordered iPhone11 0+40, activated upon receiving.
3- 3/6/24 Ordered iPhone11 0+40, activated online (after reading comments here to test it), then opened after receiving to check calling status.
4- 3/8/24 Ordered iPhone12 (as 11 is now 50) 99+tax+40( total 146.99)activated without opening and on the way to be delivered on 11th.
And I can still see add a line option. I can log into account using all 3 numbers.
As info for order # 3 & 4 I used my deleted GV number which were failed during ordering process(again after reading comments here).
I deleted those out of frustration thinking those numbers are gone after seeing error and then subsequent this number is not eligible message
So you can use your deleted GV#.
Though I paid full 40 monthly charge, it prorated and asking to make bill payment by 3/18, which I won't anyway.
And still no incoming calls on my both 11s but outgoing is ok. Not worried as these are my experiments and already gifted to my friends . will see how these unlocks in month of sept.
And yes metro site is very unpredictable at first if not reading all the comments here.
Bottom line read comments and read comments.

You can check its IMEI at this link and see if it's blacklisted. https://imeicheck.com/imei-blacklist-check
I made a mistake of ordering iph 12s and didn't order the iPh 11.
Now when analyzing the trade in values of both iPhones, the 12 is surprisingly close to the 11. So it might have been financially better to order the 11s as you did.

My son and dil both have iphone 11s so in September I'll upgrade them to 12s from this deal. My DD is an iPhone 14 and honestly the 12 seems just as responsive and is just a little worse in photography.

I'm just hoping that these phones hold their value while trading in. Just kicking myself of making the mistake of not getting the iPhone 11 which was cheaper and had nearly as good trade in value.

Just tried the IMEI check and found it's clean.
Further, the site even provided unlock function!
Is the MetroByt just MetroPCS? Seems needs pay $15. But as long it's legit, I'd like a try.
Anyone had unlock XP on this site before? Can they guarantee unlock successful or refund if failed?

This is for next month's service right? As long as my Autopay setting is off, they will just shut off the line on April 5th?

the phone's voice function would be shutdown immediately when the balance is due. but data would still work for another week, after that your account will be in suspended mode...
