I picked this up a week before the Superbowl. I have been blown away. The only drawback is now all other TVs seem dull.

Bought this last time before the Super Bowl and oh man do I love my purchase. The gaming customization on this was an added bonus. The anti-reflection on this TV is excellent. Brightness and contrast levels are stellar. Couldn't be happier.

I ordered a pickup on a openbox excellent. It was missing the shipping box, power cable, remote control. I was certain it would be damaged during transport home. I returned it immediately.

You may try calling the local store and ask for the condition if that can save you time and headache

Got one open-box for $14xx+tax...planning to wall mount it.
Is this TV really on par with C3, per rtings review?

Anybody who got this upgrade from an older OLED? Curious how much of an improvement it is compared to those. I need something bigger than 65"

It's definitely noticeable. It depends if you're a guy who watches everything in filmmaker mode with now contrast enable no vivid no anything you might notice slightly better brightness l, better highlights and some color.

But if you like picture pop with other picture modes the difference is very noticeable also if you have a bright room the sdr difference is also noticeable.

I had a cx and went to this and noticed the difference hdr looks much more impactful and the colors are so much more vivid.

Also at this point even the normal oled 77 are more expensive than this LOL

I've been a big LG OLED fan, and was contemplating the c3 77 at 2k, but at this price, grabbing for the parents who could care less about DV or DTS

Is the total membership worth it
I think so for my case, but I had it delivered and wall mounted (included for free). Plus they moved my previous 77" to the garage.

Worth it to add the geek squad extended warranty ?
I bought from Best Buy because of the geek squad warranty . they charge you a pretty penny but heard they are good for it unless BB goes belly up..

Amazing tv! Get it get it get it.

If you're one of those Samsung haters that thinks the tv is gonna explode in 1 month get the warranty (have 60 days after purchase to purchase) even after warranty you're still at around c3 prices and WAAAAAAY below g3 and this blows the c3 out of the water.

And if you type Dolby vision you've clearly not seen this tv in action
Looks like Rtings disagrees with that opinion especially with streaming content.

"the LG supports DTS audio formats and Dolby Vision, making it great for Blu-ray fans. It also has better low-quality content smoothing than the Samsung TV, making it better for watching streaming content, especially in low-bitrate situations."

I mean if you're going to buy a 77 inch tv to watch low bit rate low resolution content go ahead that's kinda wild.

I watch Netflix content and it looks great.

That being said I use the Apple TV which upscales the picture.

Nothing a streaming box can't fix and I wouldn't recommend using tizen for streaming anyways

The other nvidia shield or chrome cast or Apple TV or Roku are so much better than any app from a tv

And ratings clearly says the s90c is the best tv lol. And it also shows higher scores in movies picture quality all the relevant tests.

You're just nitpicking. The dts could be a dealbreaker if you exclusively watch vkurays and want dts only and not atoms

I see one in open box 80 miles away. Worth to drive?
Sharing my experience of purchasing this tv yesterday open box:good. Drove 20 miles to get the last one around me. It was boxed and I took the condition statement at face value and didn't open to confirm it as I had to transport it back and was in a hurry. The previous owner or the employees had tried to clean the screen with some harsh cleaner and there was a ton of streaks and damage to the screen that I have found to be irreparable. Tried distilled water and microfiber cloths. Ordered whoosh screen cleaner to try that as well. No improvement. I dont think Best Buy employees are incentived to be totally honest in their grading and unfortunately some are just unfamiliar with the proper care/cleaning of oled displays. I am returning and buying new. Lesson learned.

My TV is crooked when using the legs it came with. Probably only a quarter of an inch but it's still bugging me.

I have a Sony TV and it has DV.
I don't like it.
There's no way to turn it off while using the TVs Android TV OS.
It can only be turn off If you're using an external device.
