However, this 12 pack of smoked herring [amazon.com] for $11.93 (with 5% S&S) might be a better use of this coupon. That works out to $0.99 per can or $4.89 per pound. Tuna isn't that hard to find on sale, while herring is rarely on sale. It's more of a luxury than a pantry staple though.
Lemon and cracked pepper herring [amazon.com] also has the coupon, but kipper style doesn't.

Unlike humans, I need taurine in my diet, and cooked tuna doesn't have enough. A good manservant would add a taurine supplement if I'm going make it a major part of my diet.

I looked at my Wellness cat food cans and they do have a lot of vitamins etc so I guess human tuna won't work for cats. That is too bad because at this price it sure as heck is cheaper.
