Going off the ingredients list, looks mostly like a whey concentrate (one of the cheaper proteins) with a little micellar casein (more expensive protein) tossed in.

Not exactly sure who this product is designed for.

I am getting really tired of these subscribe and save. Very deceptive.

Only reasons to pay a premium for isolate is if you are either:
A) Lactose intolerant
B) Avoiding carbs/calories

Plenty of good isolate deals if you search for them.
Not the only reasons - there's a huge difference in cholesterol between most concentrates vs. isolates.

Never noticed that. About the equivalent of 1.5-2 whole eggs per scoop. I can see that being a problem if you take several scoops a day, but I usually have one scoop or less (usually 20-30g/day - I never use the scoop).

But I understand Isolate or Bust if you are lactose intolerant. Concentrate definitely can make those people blow.

Dietary cholesterol has little effect on serum cholesterol

that's correct, but if the boat already has water in it, why would I choose to add more if I have the option not to?

No argument from me on this.

I'm a competitive strength athlete (like a real one, not an internet tough guy -- sanctioned competitions), so consuming protein shakes is something I've done for a long time. I have enough disposable income and daily physical demands that choosing isolate and higher quality proteins is always a good thing.

As always, nothing is black or white, although many on SD would argue otherwise.

Tried this last time it ran on sale. Very messy and dusty, taste isn't bad nor good. Went back to the regular cylinder packaged stuff.

42g serving to 26g protein ratio. That's pretty terrible, regardless of concentrate vs isolate.
Also has a bunch of maltodextrin which shows up as carbs but your body treats as simple sugar.

This bag will only last me for 3 Rich Piana's 8-hour arm workouts, Same size ON is good for at *least* 4. Considering each one of those adds 2 inches of size to your arms, you'll gain about 4 lbs less muscle from *each arm*.

I'd usually buy quest protein powder for whey casein blend but haven't seen a deep discount in awhile so I opt for this brand. Only issue is the pouch is hard to close so I just transfer it to a plastic jug

Same. This gets everywhere because it's so light and dusty. Being in a bag causes it to fly everywhere when you open and close it.

Does anyone actually know if it's ok to combine other vitamins/spices with this to make a week or months worth. I know of the thousands of videos etc that show you what to mix with your protein shake. But every single one is about preparing it to drink then.

There is a lot of stuff they tell you to add for health that I haven't a clue if they can stay in the same container together without having a bad chemical interaction(Who knows/ Possibly death/Exactly WHO KNOWS) as all these are chemicals.

i.e. Ceylon Cinnamon
Ginger
Nutmeg
Tumeric
Etc etc etc

I also put Local Honey and Apple Cider Vinegar in it. But that has to be done while I'm mixing the drink for that day.

Anyone actually know???
