Wish I waited, I guess grass is always greener, but Sammy OS is just garbage
New process of producing OLEDs without rare earth minerals.
"The new process, in simplest terms, involves replacing those rare minerals with not-so-rare -- and therefore more affordable --- minerals. Diving into the science, the process involves grinding manganese bromide with benzyltriphenylphosphonium bromide. That solution is then dissolved into single MnBz crystals, which are used to create a light-emitting device (the LED part of OLED)."
So likely we see prices continue downward!

I would say rtings 90 to 90 rating was more accurate on the difference.
For my eye test the C3 produced/processed a more accurate picture image.
A nice little plus here is DV support for less money!
I would say either display would make people happy, both are both great!
Like the numbers for that Low quality content smoothing(which includes ("streaming")
That was 8.6 to 6.8! Winner C3
There was also overall/mixed usage that was 90 to 90.
Let's not forget Dolby Vision support especially since it's becoming a mainstay with content.
This all for less than the S90!

Rtings.com for everyone's reference LG C3 vs Samsung S90C:
HDR Native Gradient 9.3 to 7.8 Winner Samsung
Viewing Angle 10 to 9.3 Winner Samsung
HDR Brightness 8.5 to 8.1 Winner Samsung
Color Volume 9.1 to 7.9 Winner Samsung
Gray Uniformity 9.0 to 8.5 Winner Samsung
Pre Calibration (Be honest, most ppl aren't getting their TV professionally calibrated) 9.1 to 8.9 Winner Samsung
Now what did the C3 even win at?
Low quality content smoothing and SDR Brightness
Side note: Paired my S90C with an apple tv 4k for $150 and now have the best of both worlds
Don't get me wrong, I love the picture, but idk how practical it will be in long term with burn in, QD is not well tested / advanced yet, so I'm hoping I don't get a giant logo of a mini map from my hours of witcher 3 sessions (late to the party) because it compensates W pixel with RGB. Time will tell of course, and I have 2 years extra Sammy Care+ and 2 addl years through Citi.
If it lasts me 5 years without burn in, I'll be a happy camper.
To your point, I do have CCwGTV (4K Chromecast) plugged in and primarily use that to watch TV.
