"Is this subwoofer enough to...?"
Yes.
"Will my neighbors?..."
Yes.

Let me sum up everything:
"Can I accidentally displace my house from its current foundation with this piece of audio equipment?"
....probably, yes.

A good friend has one. I desperately wanted one. I ended up getting an M-15 V2 (which I still absolutely love). This thing is a ****ing monster. There are very few subwoofers that can move the kind of air that this can, and all the rest of them are going to be a lot more expensive than this is.

This does not go on sale for a price like this very often.

Oh... and make sure that you have help to move it and unbox it. This sub is 171.6 lbs. I bet it's over 200 lbs boxed.
It will also come shipped to you FREIGHT, strapped to a wooden pallet.

I just point that out because a lot of people don't realize just how monstrous these things are. Be prepared.

Get some furniture dollys and a moving blanket or two so that you can (carefully) tip it onto its side on a dolly and move it around on wheels (after getting it unboxed). If you have to get it up/down stairs... I recommend furniture moving straps and a strong friend or two. Bribe them with pizza/steak and beer if you must.

One day I'm going to get one of these. Today is not that day, but one day.

It's perfectly fine, I have them on 20 amp circuits. They draw peak power for a fraction of a second, not like a space heater pulling constant current.

I am building a new theater room, dedicated, and I need a subwoofer. I only have room for one as the room is kinda small. This is just tooooo much for the room.

Looking at the 12" instead or the HSU VTF. A little more manageable, but if you have the space and room height, this thing is a killer.

Jesus! 16 inch at 2000 watts??? Even old school 12 inch 100-300 watt units(I still run my old polk psw12) can shake your whole house when paired with a good receiver. This is beyond a monster.

I did not and it worked fine (they had a lift gate and a pallet jack). YMMV.

Boy I sure want to buy this, but I don't have plans to build out the home theater for probably another 3 years or so... I'm going to keep holding out and see if I can get this on clearance or some crazy deal. My spouse will probably kill me, too, because the 12" pb12s I have already cause an issue.

Brand new single family homes are being built everywhere 10ft apart. Is that enough for bass to be not heard by neighbors

Maybe you can sell the idea to build a house? https://www.pinterest.com/pin/679...721274251/

How does this compare to a Pyle 8" subwoofer? I can get that for $39 and looks about the same
Just get 2 of the Pyle 8 inches and you get to 16 inches and also save $1300.

Code possibly a glitch as it doesn't work on other Monolith products, so don't wait.
Not a glitch, same price on eBay apparently.
