I got the same error and figured out how to get around it. Don't use the links above. Login to Metro with your phone line and PIN. Then, go to Phones & devices >> Tablets & devices. I was then able to select the Samsung tablet and added a line and paid $20. Hope this helps you out.

Both the new and old phones were unlocked. Note: the old phone worked on Metro for 2 years including the day before.

It's much cheaper already -- $95 brand new. Although it is only Wifi. But the Metro one we don't know if it will unlock anyway.

Don't even make sense to go through the hassle then...

I got the Moto G Stylus 5g $40/1 month deal a couple of weeks ago. If I take advantage of this $20 deal, will it require me to extend my Moto G Stylus $40 plan another month?
I bought one phone eight days ago and added a new line yesterday.

Now both lines are standalone, but next month billing will be adjusted to the first line, i.e., $40 +$32 = $72.

So it will be prorated for the second line and adjusted to whichever comes early (my experience so far and the table should do the same).

Otherwise, they're pro-rated, so they can't do anything if we don't provide them with a credit card, and auto-pay is off. At worst, one line will expire and another will stay active, but I doubt that will happen based on my experience.

My service just expired beginning of March for the A15 I ordered a month ago. Still tried anyway, just like I expected, the 2 step verification still works a few days past expiration, but since my account is suspended, I'm not able to order.

Only way to get this is to refresh my account for $40 or try and get a new phone then link a tablet. Don't want to spend another $60, would do $30-40 if a new deal shows up.

Please point to where they mentioned the phone was locked or what gave you the indication it was locked?

Had the same issue yesterday, spoke to rep they said name or address may not be matching . So I updated the account name on the profile history page . And then placed the order it asks security qns and then order was placed.
There is nothing wrong with the name on the profile page.
It is exactly the same as the one on my credit cards.
Address is the same too.

Got the same message over the last few weeks. Called my credit card company and no protection/block on the card. Metro online ordering system sucks.
Credit card's address matches the address for my Metro account.
Totally idiotic system.

Is the TCL tablet better? Looks like this is what the review say
The Samsung A7 Lite is 8.7" compared to the 8" TCL, so it's slightly chunkier and has a larger battery.

It also has a better octa-core processor (MT8768T) and TCL is quad-core (MT8766). Both have the ancient Cortex-A53 architecture, so expect lags and issues with resource-heavy apps and games.

The A7 Lite got Android 14 update (probably the last major one) and TCL is still on ... Android 12.

Wouldn't that be more of a problem since whatever info they have for people don't match up?

You can try to order through chat, just tell them it didn't work. I got the same error multiple times although the payment went through every time. I tried live chat, and the REP ordered it for me. I had to give him my credit card information through chat though which I kind of don't really like that.

Where is the chat option?
