LOL this is literally nothing more than a switch inside that shorts 2 wires together and makes the CEL light on your dash blink out codes. You can do the exact same thing with a paperclip or piece of wire.

You're paying $15 for some wire, a SPST switch, and a hugely oversized mostly empty plastic housing. One of the reviewers posted a teardown photo.

I should advertise an eco OBD 1 code reader on Amazon and just sell paperclips. I could ask $7.50.
