As mentioned before, wait until later in the checkout process to enter the promo code.

To make things clear, this is a $700 discount applied via monthly device credits on the payment plan over 24 months.
I believe you forfeit any remaining credits with early payoff on Xfinity Mobile (like everyone except T-Mobile).

A concern...
The checkout screen has this text (bold added by me):

You're getting your first monthly device credit today. Additional device credits will be applied if you transfer your number and activate your device within 30 days.

This is after selecting to upgrade an existing line, so unclear if it really does need the number transfer to qualify or not.

For folks who are getting error, DO NOT enter code on the page where you add it to the cart. Just add the phone to the cart and go all the way to check out and enter the code there and it will work.

not sure what the hell you talking about. This deal is for current customers and xfinity has many deals in the past for current customers and the plan prices are cheapest. I have 5 lines with by the gig plan and i pay $25 with taxes and fees. Go Spam somewhere else with your new account.

It's definitely only available on certain accounts. I chatted and they couldn't override.

EDIT: I did finally get this to work. 1) I applied the 700OFFGALAXY24 promo code at the last stage of checkout, not at cart phase. 2) When I would get the error above I would hit the 'Back' button in my browser and that would get me going again.

Definitely a weird promo code, but it did work and for me worked out as a 70% off discount.

FYI, I had an offer on my xfinity rewards page for $600 off iPhones (credits over 24 months) - it's an individual code so you'd have to check your rewards page. It's good for multiple phones when transferring from another carrier only. I'm nervous to switch reading horror stories about XFinity mobile service though. I assume nobody here is having issues with constantly dropped calls or bad texting service?
