This is a good, flexible, intermediate level truck. Fast enough to keep older kids and adults entertained, but can be turned down for young or inexperienced users. The transmitter has a switch to limit power to 50% / 75% / 100%. Newbies can start on a 2S battery at 50% and eventually work up to 100% on a 3S battery. Unlike some of the cheaper Amazon trucks, parts to repair it will be readily available. This would be a good way to get started in RC and eventually upgrade to a 6S vehicle when you're ready.
I'm just saying this for perspective. A 3S truck isn't like a toy for beginners or something you'd find at Walmart. This is a serious hobby-grade vehicle. The majority of people will not feel any need to even upgrade from 3S in my opinion. You have to be really into the hobby to go beyond that.

Does this battery & charger compatible with this truck?
The 4s would be too much voltage. The car maxes out at 3s, but can also run on a 2s battery.
I take this back...I ordered from horizon directly and it arrived in 2 days...website still says "awaiting shipment"
Well, I'm 40 and I just bought myself one for. Christmas. It's awesome.
Also for anyone clicking the link. You have to go to the other items link on the right because its not defaulting to the PRIME posting anymore with the $70 coupon

The clicking is normal to an extent from what I understand. I had the same question. https://www.arrmaforum.
