Not UL listed. I buy plenty of junk on slickdeals that isn't, but I don't think I would trust a heating pad. Just seems like the worst kind of object to cut corners in production of. At $5 shipped there is no way this is a quality constructed unit. I use a heating pad almost everyday on my recliner, but if it ever did catch fire it would go off like gasoline in here once the chair got going.

Good looking out. I keep things like this plugged into a smart plug whether it's UL listed or not. Set it for whatever amount of time I want to use it and not stress too much about forgetting to turn it off.

That is a good point. I'll have to pop it open and see what type of isolation there is with the mains side and the low-voltage heating side.

Fakespot gives it C rating (3 star) and lot of negative reviews of the product not lasting long or not warm enough.

UL isn't the only electrical safety test lab so just because it doesn't have a UL mark doesn't mean it's unsafe and doesn't comply with the appropriate standards. It does have have some certification marks on the label as far as I can tell so I'm hoping there's some diligence and for 5 bucks I'm willing to risk it.
