Note that the 64GB version only offers 4GB of RAM. The 128GB version (also on sale, for $230) bumps the RAM up to 8GB. Not sure if it's worth the $50 additional, since the storage can be expanded with a MicroSD card. Would like to hear from anyone that's compared the performance of these.

I was just debating if it was worth the extra to upgrade the storage and ram and has slightly better performance on the 128GB model. One thing to note is that the Micro SD card cannot hold any games or larger apps so you will have to rely on the internal storage only. IMO it does seem the $50 would be a good investment if you are planning to game on it. For all other casual users I think the 64GB should be good enough.

I don't get it.

You got the iplay 50 mini pro with 8GB/256GB and a G99 (about the same speed as the SD695) for about $140ish. You can get one as cheap as $99 (8GB/128GB and G99) on Amazon.

Global Firmware Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad 2024 Tablet 8GB 128GB Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 Octa Core 11" Screen GPS WIFI Android Tab FOR $141 at aliexpress.

Why is it so much more money getting a Samsung? I will tell you why... cause they RIP YOU OFF!!!
Chinese branded tablets typically don't receive software updates after you buy it except maybe Lenovo which will release few updates but with so much delays compared to Samsung and for shorter duration as well.

I ended up returning this. Unfortunately the TFT screen is a bizarre cost-cutting measure. Go off-angle and it is very noticeable. A lot of cheap tablets have IPS, so I hope they change that on the next model update.

As the commenter above notes, this uses a TFT screen, vs the IPS screen on an iPad. I'll be receiving mine today and I'll decide how I feel about it. I personally am not a fan of the Apple UI, so I'll be looking for a different Android tablet if I don't like this.

It's worth noting that the S9, at about 3x the prices, uses an AMOLED display.

You have a point...
Two of the tablets I mentioned can be found on Amazon with next day delivery. Forget about the Aliexpress model.
What is the advantage of one vs. the other? What the heck is Livevine1?

Any chance you use whoosh? My lenovo tablet crashes everytime I start a route.
I am not familiar with that app. Is it used for navigation? I was going to try to install it, but I see there are a few apps with that name, so I wasn't sure which one to try.

Mywhoosh, sorry. You would also need to create a profile, then go for a bike ride, then select a user on the right to follow. Then let it run. My tablet crashed instantly but others crash after a few hours.

So I do appropriate you for looking into it, it is way too much work. Thank you.

Just bought it this morning and it arrived in 6 hours. Got the 4GB RAM + 64GB version, so far so good. I just needed a larger tablet for reading in bed, displaying sheet music for piano so nothing heavy for me. I have a bad history of experience with all Samsung products and I hate that they're always the best value at the time I need it so maybe 4th time's the charm?

I have te 8GB/128GB version of this tablet and think it's great for general usage and watching videos. It's very smooth and quick. I also have the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022 version) which is almost identical in performance.

Just received mine and set it up. The screen is nothing impressive. I haven't decided whether or not to keep it yet.

I don't know if this matters to anyone looking at this tablet, but I'm pretty sure the A series can't use Samsung DEX. Might not be a deal breaker, but it's a nice feature of the higher end tablets. I have an A8+ and an S7+ and they are both wonderful for the price, I imagine the a9+ is the same.

Samsung's website is contradictory on this, but you can [samsung.com].
