The number of idiots on here may be overwhelming, but not surprising. Any amp can power any sub. How well it does, depends on matching the ratings between the two. There's also personal preference.
I've sold sub installs where users insisted on, despite my recommendations, clipping audio. Let's set that as the baseline.
Most people aren't good enough to determine what sounds good and what's trash. They just want their insides vibrating. That's why junk companies were thriving. Even decent companies started selling junk because salesman would recommend their crap to make an extra buck.
These are decent subs that come with a decent amp that will drive them. If you have an issue with either the subs or the amp or the combo, go build your own kit (read:fark off). Can you do better? Yes! Should you spend the time researching? Maybe. How much is your time worth?
