- hickory handle feels pretty good - better IMO than anything fiberglass I handled before
- 8lb is plenty for small jobs. 10 might be pushing it for some - me specifically
I assume Estwing uses better materials so probably worth the extra $10 if not using for a single project

To clarify - all the "impact" gloves being pushed down my throat appeared to be made to absorb high-frequency vibration in a small patch between the thumb and forefinger, but not to spread out massive shocks across the entire palm. Also, lots of rubber "armor" on the backside.
Edit: and to even further clarify, I was not in a situation where I could let gravity and momentum do the work while easing off on my grip, I was swinging horizontally with maybe 3' of clearance and had to be extremely accurate while delivering every bit of force I could.

I don't see any marketing about two different faces, but I'm not planning on wearing any one of them out.
I may go for the 8 lb fiberglass model, then. If it has two different faces, great but if they are both the same, no great loss. 10 lb is likely more than I need for occasional use.
I just saw the description for this Fiskars:

The rounded face is described as a demolition face.

This is $3 cheaper and I see no difference: https://a.co/d/3k6N5Pi at first glance
It works well for blending existing dents with new ones to make a more uniform look.
