Reviews say Daisy chaining causes problems and the monitors to freeze.
I search that solutions. 1. Turn off energy saving options ( Do not make sleep Monitor or Mac). 2. Turn off monitor power.
Price is good than other thunderbolt monitor. Have issues, because 65% discount.

this samung have multiple issues and samsung isnt able to fix them ! so READ BEFORE YOU BUY just because of the cheap price !
Do not buy for dual-display setups and mac
I bought two of these and it has been a disaster. These monitors have a flaw where each returns the same EDID UUID and Serial Number, which causes your display arrangement to change randomly when you reconnect or the MacBook wakes from sleep. Samsung support was absolutely worthless. If you are buying two identical monitors, DO NOT BUY THESE. (FYI, these issue did not occur with the LG Thunderbolt 3 monitors I replaced. It's a design defect with the Samsung monitor that is causing the problem.)
I really want to like this monitor and when it works its great. But like others I have a consistent problem with Thunderbolt in a dual monitor configuration. After receiving a signal, one or both monitors will freeze up with the menu staying on the screen. The menu will not disappear and cannot actually be accessed. This means that the monitor cannot be powered off without unplugging it, which is the only way I have found to correct the problem. I might have to unplug the monitor 3-5 times in order to get it to work properly. Doing this every time I want to use my computer is a huge inconvenience and makes Thunderbolt more trouble than it is worth. You would think the problem could be fixed with a firmware update, but there is no update. I regret choosing this monitor and will not purchase another monitor from Samsung.
I purchased this Samsung monitor several months ago, and my overall experience has been less than satisfactory. The primary issue I've encountered is an intermittent problem where the sound cuts out, and the menu buttons become unresponsive. Even unplugging and re-plugging the HDMI cable fails to resolve the issue, as the screen remains frozen. My attempt to seek assistance from Samsung Technical Service only added to my frustration. The technical support representative appeared to lack the necessary expertise and, regrettably, provided misleading information during our conversation. I was assured that a Samsung representative would visit my home to resolve the issue, but upon logging into the Samsung Care portal, it's evident that they expect me to ship the monitor for repair. Despite these issues, I have found a temporary workaround. When the problem occurs, unplugging the monitor from power and then plugging it back in allows the monitor to function normally for a limited time, typically an hour or two. While this workaround helps, it's not a sustainable solution for a product of this caliber. I had high expectations for this Samsung monitor, but the ongoing problems and the disappointing customer support experience have left me dissatisfied. I hope Samsung can address these issues promptly to improve their product quality and customer service.

Is this your experience with daisy chaining or with 2 separate source USB-C ports?
I have a couple of the Galaxy Books with 3 usb-c ports and also only have a need for one monitor.
This seems to have better brightness compared to the other model that is also $200 right now so it would be my pick as I have a need for this size and resolution.
