I bought this on the last deal. I absolutely love it. Highly recommend an ALR screen with it. 120" screen is great. You can use it in low light and it looks really good. Obviously you want to have complete darkness if possible.

I've had so many bad experiences with various LG products thst I'm not sure I would trust this. Maybe they're better at making projectors than other things.
What LG products failed on you, if you don't mind me asking?
Do you need a screen for projector use? We have white walls and would prefer not to
I can't speak to this specific technology for projection but we've got an old school 1080p bulb projector and it looks great on a grey wall. I suppose it depends on how picky you are. Our current setup is easy to setup and teardown after. In our previous home we had a theater room with a screen and the projector mounted, which was also nice. I'm personally content either way.

No you don't. But the picture is better with a good screen. You'll see a lot of people spending as much on a screen as the projector but I don't think you need to. I got an Elite Yardmaster 2, 120" screen with full tension frame so no wrinkles, and legs if I want to take it outdoors. I have it hanging from two hooks. It was $250 at the time, but Amazon open box in perfect condition for $95.
I got one from Silver Ticket Products. It's a fixed screen version, so I had to assemble it. Not difficult, but I strongly recommend two people for assembly and mounting.

for a mere $ 4,000 more 🤣
Does LG make any projectors with 3D?

No, you don't.
Do you absolutely definitely want one? Yeah, you do.
Unless you have absolutely dead flat plaster walls and a pitch black room you're not going to be super happy spending this much on a projector.
It's like buying a Porsche to drive around town 25 MPH.

There are special paints available for this purpose. Paint the wall you like to project onto. It's pretty close to a screen.

I got the S7. I bought an open box one, they did a great job repacking it.
