Good mouse, have been waiting for to go on sale. I've used it the past 4 years., and it's still working although the rubber coating has peeled considerably. I tried a cheaper Anker model and it wasn't nearly as good, so back to this I go for round 2.
My favorite mouse of all time. I've purchased three of them.

That's odd.... three? "Why three? " you ask. Because of Logitech's absolutely abysmal reliability. There is a very well know issue with this mouse's clicker switches. Search google for "mx vertical drag" or "mx vertical microswitch". There's actually a mini-industry of people providing the service of replacing this (and others, as well) mouse's switches once they inevitably fail.

But it's still my all time favorite mouse. I finally had to draw a line and stop buying them on principle. I'm currently using their other vertical mouse, the "Lift". It's ok. The vertical MX Vertical was much, much more comfortable for me with my big hands. Oh well.

If you do buy this, get the amazon extended warranty. I promise you that YOU WILL USE IT. Fair warning provided....
I have tried all kinds of ergonomic mouses. If you are looking for something that would alleviate your shoulder pain, go with the Ergo M575 trackball mouse. It is a game changer. It would take a day or two to get accustomed, but once you are through, there is no going back.

Thanks for the suggestion!! Sadly it's not a shoulder issue rather hand/wrist issue.
I've used quite a few vert mouse in the past they make a huge difference. I've been trying out various "ergo" shaped mouse in the last two years. I've tried out mx master 2s, basilisk ultimate, viper ultimate (thinking light weight might help), G502x plus, model i2 wireless, mx master 3s and finally returning to vert mouse after many experiments both in weight and shape.

Both the shape and weight seems to have a big impact on the fatigue/cramp/carpal tunnel issues. Despite the three mice being in nearly identical shape, impact on the hand/wrist was vastly different. I definitely like the model i2 wireless out of the three "ergo" gaming mice. Both the MX Master models are too heavy imo.
If switching to vertical doesn't work, you should look into the "bar" roller mice. They're expensive like nothing else, but they kept a coworker from up and quitting due to the repetitive strain. She got the company to pay for it as a medical accommodation and never looked back.

I have this. Takes a bit of getting used to. I use it for daily tasking then switch back to regular mouse for gaming.

I don't know why Logi doesn't make a left handed version of their mouses.
Is that too hard to ask for?

Just here to second what a lot of others have said as a vertical mouse user: the switches in the mouse fail early and often. I had one that had the left mouse button fail about a month out of warranty.

I've had better luck in terms of longevity with Anker's wired vertical mouse, though the form factor is a little different and takes getting used to and the scroll wheel doesn't seem to last as long as the Logitech's. It feels noticeably cheaper than the Logitech, though not horrible.

The Nulea M504 is somewhat similar in terms of feel to the Logitech MX Vertical mouse for those looking for an alternative that feels more similar, but is far, far cheaper (and with some RGB as a bonus). The mouse buttons are significantly shorter though (it's not for people with larger hands). Time will tell on the longevity for the Nulea; it's a pretty new to market product. It also feels cheaper than the Logitech, though better than the Anker.

Great deal. I've use vertical nice for years. Developed arm pain and made the switch. The cheap ones got my feet wet and when I bought the MX vertical it was a game changer. I prefer this and vertical mice in general over the roller ball style mice. The thumb movement didn't rid my arm pain.

This MX vertical is the best I've used. I have two, nice to be able to take one with me when I'm using a laptop. I've even connected to my iPad in a pinch. I've programmed the two secondary buttons to common commands I use in software. Super convenient.

Takes a day or two to get used to but once you're settled it's only your natural wrist movement while shoulder, elbow, etc remain stationary. I do ensure my armrest is as level with the desk I'm using to keep my body stationary.

I guess i'm not the only one that feels that way. Surprisingly, glorious i2 wireless fits better in that department plus much lighter weight

Vert mouse is already here from amazon. Let me whip it out and follow up

It fits the hand better than MX 3S still short. I actually brought out the MX 2S, it has a much better shape for larger hand. Longer bulkier length

I had excruciating tennis elbow, or whatever, switched to this and haven't felt it in years. I think 6 years now.

I don't know the model numbers, but I have two of these Logitech mouses, large and small, and this bigger one is plenty big for me. I'm 6'-1" and have a 7-3/4" wrist. Fairly large I think. This mouse has my hand off the pad while I'm using it. The smaller one my hand rubs, but it's for my personal computer that I don't use much.
