Lowest price I've seen for a WD_BLACK 4TB SN850X.

Just be aware that these 2 sided NVMe's will get really hot if in external enclosure.

I know this is a good price considering the recent price jump, but it's still hard to swallow it knowing many people got it for $77 a day ago…
That was an absolute one off situation. It would be different if you missed a deal multiple retailers offered, but you didn't. It was one retailer and from I saw people have not received a shipment yet.
Yeah not sure, maybe a lot if people got their order in, but shipment is another thing. I would not be surprised if walmart cancels all the order no shipped yet. They have done it in the past.

No freakin way it was at 77, was there a slickdeals post on that?

I didn't see anything and been checking religiously

It lasted minutes. Was a right-place-right-time scenario; if you saw it when it got posted and got an order in, you lucked out

Yeah, don't look it up! It'll just make you sad you missed out on one hell of a deal! You're not alone though.

I clicked on the post when it had 0 comments, placed a Walmart order, tried to get to Best Buy to price match, but OOS by then. Probably under 5 minutes at most

I bought this to use as my main drive and now it overheats and stays at 62c so i am using it as a secondary drive instead. I would not recommend this without a heatsink

I was gonna say I can't believe I got the 4tb 990 pro for $170, but now apparently people got this WD for $77 wow that's incredible. Obviously a one-off but good for anyone who got it.

There's no way that wasn't a price mistake... If someone actually got it, they were extremely lucky.
