Received this CS74 version yesterday, confirmed that anime matrix lowers battery life by at least one hour in actual use, should have purchased the PH version without anime matrix 100%.

Received my PH74. This laptop is nice! I replaced the included SSD with a 2TB 980 and replaced the one 8GB 4600 DDR5 Dimm with a 32GB 5200 Dimm from crucial. I now have 40GB since you can't replace the other 8GB as it is soldiered on the motherboard. I installed Win10 Home and had to install Armory Crate to get the fan speeds under control and not max.

Overall this is an excellent laptop for the price and especially the screen!

I expected the dislikes, but it's never pretty being the one to call out the attention-grabbing eyesore. I really like Asus; I don't know what they were thinking when they came up with this.

You can use GHelper to control fan speeds without the Asus bloat.

Got this computer a couple of days ago and love it so far. Love to be able to customize using Anime Matrix and mostly importantly it can play games. I played Diablo 4 and Xcom 2 on it, no issue.
