Typical price range for a plastic one. I would pay double for a stainless steel one. Fakespot rates C for this one.
Don't be like me and measure something hot enough to melt the plastic and then not realize it until later
That's why I use metric.

Electronic versions of something that doesn't need it invites headaches in a year or two when the battery goes dead. Why not just read the digits off the etched metal? Similar to "electronic tire pressure gague", spare me please. The non electric ones ALLWAYS work.

If it is half decent the battery goes for years. It is much easier to read and takes the guessing out of trying to figure out which line the pointer is on. I mainly use mine for designing stuff for 3D printing and it is much easier and quicker.

Get a half decent stainless steel one and you'll still have your analog if the battery dies. You'll find yourself reaching for the electronic one way more.

I have an exact one with no brand name for over 5 years. It works but it's a toy.

I got the stainless one for $18 on discount and it is perfectly fine. It makes you want a super expensive and extremely precise one but this measures to the hundredths just fine.

I buy these and throw them in various drawers around the house. Very useful.
Here's a two pack of similar calipers for five dollars each and 5% off.

Genuine question. Why would you want calipers to measure fractions? You can use a Ruler or tape measure for that kind of accuracy.
You can use fractions to the same precision as any other scale.

I have a pair that I use to measure stuff that old and american, fractions to the 100th can be decimals, either works. Both are hard to pull off with a tape measure.

Something like this is fine for say 3d printing projects. Ive got some pre covid harbor freight calipers I use all the time for basic projects.
