Just FYI, savings are not accurate for socal resident tickets (they're basing the numbers against full price tickets, not the equivalent resident ticket on Disneyland's site)

no, it has to have your eligible address, pictured ID.

or....you may bring your passport (as pictured ID) and see if you can bring the latest utility bill. it's worth a shot and it depends who is the supervisor who comes and check out your credentials.

Do they actually scan the tickets? Is there a way I can sneak in through the exit doors?

The DeLorean you'll need for that to happen will cost way more than $70.

I highly doubt this. SoCal has population of approximately 20 million. Most means more than half, so are you suggesting 11 million Southern Californians have season pass? I doubt if they want to sell such high numbers to SoCal residents only. Also looking at their annual report, their 2023 revenue was $89 billion, of which $32 billion came from 'Disney Experience', which includes worldwide theme parks, hotel, vacation club, cruise, etc, given average pass price is over $1k, what you are suggesting is about $11 billion of $32 billion came from just season pass to social residence in Disneyland in Anaheim?

I agree with you... To the comment that thinks that most SoCal residents have season passes, that's insane to even think that. Where did this info come from? It's probably the opposite. I've been a SoCal resident from +50yrs and haven't visited Disneyland in 20yrs. Disney lost their magic a long time ago... definitely not somewhere you can go to enjoy with family any more. From the park prices, to the food, the lines to the employees that don't want to be there. Take ur money and go on a cruise or to an all inclusive resort.

Selling out does not equal "most people have them." (the original claim)

Tickle me Elmo, Pink Stanley Cups, and whatever Taylor Swift is doing this week all sold out but I doubt you own all of the above

BTW, where are they sold out? Just uttering stuff doesn't actually make it true.
Disney stopped selling Magic Keys for most of 2023 due to crowds and a lawsuit from Magic Key holders who claim Disney oversold the Magic Keys so keyholders were unable to attend the parks when they wanted to. Before then, the two most expensive keys were sold out for awhile. Now, it seems to have flipped as the two cheapest keys are now sold out.
