Holy Bernoulli. I'm not into the Z1 non-extreme but at this price it's an insane handheld PC.

According to my pi hole my Asus, ROG Ally sends out more request than my Roku ultra.
I don't really know what it means but I'm guessing that can't be good.
Right?
Like many have said before this, or maybe they don't, nobody cares what you are doing online.. not anyone in the USA, in Russia, in China.. why would they care? Someone tell me this? You are not that interesting to them. Do you debate this?

$270 with tax for the cheapest open box where I live. I just bought a like new condition Z1 Extreme from a local seller for $350, otherwise would have considered buying the Z1 at this price. Use mine docked as a desktop replacement. It's connected to a 32" 4K monitor, so the additional GPU performance of the Z1 extreme helps.

No Brainer at 255 open box excellent condition. Have it docked to my TV, taken on some drives no issues works great. Buy now think later what to do, very versatile little PC.
Which dock do you use?

I have the JSAUX dock that I bought from Amazon. Works just fine with my 4k monitor @60 Hz. No freesync though, unfortunately. For that, you will need to buy a dock with a displayport output.

šŸ˜‚ You are right - you're not that interesting! That said, you may be helping the CCP train its police state technology and potentially build its file on you in case you ever do become interesting.

That's where you are wrong. You are just another data point, training police state technology and potentially helping immobilize US infrastructure when the CCP decides to invade Taiwan. Keep buying your cheap CCP technology, rationalizing that it doesn't matter because of how unimportant you are.

I read that on Reddit about Z1 model doesn't get hot as extreme model gets so it doesnt kill sd card. For my experience I had two Z1 model and one Z1 extreme, Z1 extreme model was the only one with sd card problem.

If it has the problem, from reddit;

If your serial number starts with R8 or R9, then you shouldn't have MicroSD issues. If you buy an Ally and it has problems, you can send to ASUS for RMA and get the MicroSD reader motherboard swapped out.

I think we got off base on the device listed. I still do not think the Chinese govie cares about all that. That's my opinion, and you have yours. This is about an ASUS handheld PC and you are talking about China invading Taiwan? There's nothing wrong with Asus. I guess I would ask - What does buying a ROG Ally have to do with China invading Taiwan? I'm not saying it's a bad device, i'm stating that I think for a bit more money, you might be able to do a bit more. I see a lot of people buying these devices solely to play emulators that are readily available on Android devices already.

** At this point, with nobody buying the ROG devices or the Legion Go, I won't mention the MSI Claw with it's issues at this point --> wait 2-3 months. They will crumble in price as they have been. The market for handheld windows based devices is unfortunately not here yet. If you want to play full version PC AA/AAA titles, wait for it.

Classic slickdeal. Went from Asus Handheld to CCP. You know Asus is Taiwanese right?
