I am glad the price finally went back down. Is that price here to stay? The equate foam soap was 2.22 before inflation. Then it shot up to 4.97...which was ridiculous! The dial stuff was only a dollar more. And most of the time, the name brand stuff had coupons and stuff...so you could get that cheaper.

This is "Price when purchased online". So, it will ring up full price at the checkout in-store. If you show the online price to the cashier, they will price match.
Are you sure they still do this? I've seen blurbs on the Walmart app that state they have different prices for online orders versus the store and I'm almost certain they no longer price match those
I visited my local store today and noticed that a lot of Equate soaps (and others, like Softsoap), both foaming and liquid has Rollbacks. YMMV, obviously, but I was surprised at how drastic the rollbacks were. The Equate "spring" scented foaming soap went from something like $5 to $2 and change

I have done it in the past. Not sure if they still doing it these days
IMO it doesn't. I switched from Softsoap to Equate a while back. It was a bad decision but I was saving a couple dollars per bottle. I got sick and tired of the non-smell (very difficult to smell) and watery Equate version so I switched back to Softsoap and am not exactly pinching pennies like I used to have to. I like quality and will not go back to equate unless I get in to hard times in money for my family again.

Thanks for the reply! Had a bunch in my cart but figure my wife would complain if it wasn't as good!

One thing to watch is what chemical residue it leaves on the hands for that scent..i actually prefer soap to be just plain soap...wash off the germs & leave NO residue..
