Get a 43" monitor instead. The flicker is gonna fark your eyes using a TV as a monitor, and the text will be blurry. Plus no auto wake from mouse is ultra a noting.
Buy an actual 43" monitor and you'll be way happier. Also many monitors have features like picture by picture and picture in picture which is nice.
I have a lg un700-b and am extremely happy I made that decision over the tvs I was considering. https://www.bhphotovide

Yeah I can imagine a monitor that's 4x the cost of this TV is a bit better.
Sorry if my reply was unclear: using a bottom barrel 43" TV as a monitor is not a fit solution and you will regret it.
I use a cheap Samsung (7000?) as a monitor and see no flickering or any other issues. Yes, no auto wake but I usually sit down for a session and then walk away rather than go back and forth so no issue. To each their own, idk how different this particular tv will be though.
