I own 2 pairs of these and really like them. Also, I have a slickdeals level problem buying earbuds... seriously, who needs 20+ pairs... anyways, here's a few of my personal pro's and con's.

Pro's:

The passive sound is amazing when wearing them outside the house. I can still clearly hear everything that's going on around me while walking the dogs or grabbing groceries. This was the goal with this model when I initially purchased them. I liked it so much I bought a backup pair in white.

Inside, it's even better. I wear them a lot while laptop gaming on the couch when my partner and I are passively watching tv. I can still have a conversation and hear whatever is on the tv while also having game audio.

Battery life is pretty damn good. They haven't died on me during use yet, and I've had some pretty long stretches wearing them (4-6 hours) continually.

Cons:

The fit. Man, these are one of the most polarizing styles I've ever seen. My partner and my son both can't get a good fit no matter what wing tips we put on them. I have pretty standard ass ear holes so it's not an issue, but if you have tiny ports, they may not be stay in.

No wireless charging... seriously, it's the 2020's everything should have wireless charging at this point.

Sound quality. I mainly use them for things I'm not too interested in a audiophile experience with. If this were to be my daily driver I'd be dissapointed about the sound profile. Thankfully they're not. If I need that, I move to the XM3's or XM4's or Bud's Pro's or Bud's Pro 2's.... this may be a problem. Dammit SlickDeals.

Anyways, feel free to AMA.

Cheers,
Vulgar

Tried these and really wanted to like but weren't good fit.

The Samsung live buds (beans) are the only best game in town still for the open style. Have a few pairs and everyone at home loves those. Get them if you haven't.

These are my go to earbuds. Most comfortable I've ever used. Doesn't create any pressure in the ear canal and can hear everything around me. They are good for phone calls as well. Getting a bit older so just got the bose ultra open and while they sound better not as comfortable for longer sessions. Sometimes it sits comfortably but other times hurts a bit.

Maybe you can help. I'm looking for an inexpensive set of earbuds for my 14yr old to wear to school. He loses everything so the set of AirPods I gave him (my old ones) I don't allow to go to school with him. I would like them to be $40 or less but be durable enough to use for at least a couple of months.
Try Soundpeats. Air 4 and Air 4 Pro are good. If you want something cheaper, the Air 3 Deluxe or Air 3 Deluxe Pro.

These were pretty good back when they came out, as they were the only or one of the first few TWS earbuds with an open ear design. I used them for quite a bit and found them pretty good, but there's much better options nowadays. Overall audio quality was good with these. I did find it blocked roughly 10-20% of ambient sound, as it does sit in your ear canal. The fit is also hit or miss for a lot of people. I found it hard to get the left and right ears perfectly adjusted so they sound the same. I did like the tapping feature though. It beats touch sensitive and physical buttons, as it works well under hats and while you're wearing gloves.

I've since moved onto the Shokz OpenFit and lastly the Bose Ultra Opens. I think the OpenFits are the best bang for the buck in terms of fit, comfort, and sound quality. The Bose Ultra Opens are even better for sound quality, but the poor mic quality and price make it difficult to recommend.

These Linkbuds ARE NOT FOR REGULAR use, such as listening to music with amazing reproduction. YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY.

Rather, they're open-air earbuds for situations where you need to hear someone talk to you at any moment (e.g. The office) or where you must hear emergency alarms, signals, and other noises that would save your ass (eg. Out jogging and that lion mountain roaring behind you, or crossing the street and the ambulance is roaring your way).

As long as you buy with the huge limitation of sub-par audio reproduction in mind, it works fine. A lighter alternative to bone conduction headphones.

I bought a pair for about the same price from another eBay seller. Great headphones. Sound is good and the ambient sound is perfect. You can overpower this with increased volume. But double tape and everything outside the headphones sounds completely normal. I was really hoping to be able to use at the gym. No can do. The just fall out, even with the biggest rubber piece. Sucks. If I'm not sitting at the desk or couch, not exerting too much movement they seem fine. But too much movement and they fall right out. A bigger ring might help. Like a XXL or XXXL.

I have Bose Quiet Comfort and Apple Air pod pro.

I do not like wearing these while I'm running. The Noise canceling is too strong.

Just bought these headphones for open air sound and awareness of surrounding.

These things are horrible. Absolutely horrible. I wouldn't use them if they were free.

I like the soundcore p20i for my son who does the same. They run like $25 on Amazon but have a coupon to clip about half the time (currently 20% off). I got 3 pair when they were $17 a couple months ago. Decent sound, long battery life and you will be less mad when they do get lost... Because they will.
