photo evidence below. SFC 2.0 will be indicated at 29W+ i did have to drain it to the point that it would take 29W + at a time, in order to trigger the display.
Cool inline gadget that clearly shows power in and draw. Can you please list the digital display device for us newbies? TIA
I picked this up a my local Costco today. With the heavier Samsung cord, my Samsung S24 Ultra said Super Fast Charging 2.0. It included part numbers 336 and 313. Target's website indicates the 336 as GaN (on main page title and on the packaging pictures in the reviews). Link to Target's Page[target.com]
I get that GaN chargers are more powerful/efficient/smaller, but these still work as intended--charging your devices. It's not that serious if one of them isn't GaN.
Yeah, GaN itself doesn't change the power delivery, but "prime" vs not does. With the GaN prime, you can split the 65W between the two USB-C ports however you want or devices will allow. For instance, you could have a 30W device on each USB-C port. On the 336, there is a hard power limit based on which ports are used. In the same scenario, your top port is limited to 45W and bottom is limited to 22W.
May not make a difference to a lot of people, but may be important to some.
No, "GaNPrime" is a specific series of chargers from Anker. These chargers use GaN technology, but neither are GaNPrime chargers (contrary to what some claimed early on in the thread).
Now if the 336 is not GaN, then what are all those other charger makers doing making them so large? For me as long as size and functionality fits the bill I can care less what tech it uses as long as it doesn't kill my devices lol
Where are they located? I can't seem to find them instore
I picked up mine in store (same prices as online). They were located near other office supplies like printer ink cartridges and paper. Basically near electronics.

You can find out which warehouses near you have it from Costco customer service by calling 800-774-2678 then select option 4 and then option 1. Then tell the customer service rep that you'd like to find out which stores by you have item #1796107. They'll ask you for your zip code to lookup the warehouses near you so they can tell you which ones have it in stock.
